Higher Education

Higher education is a path to employment for many veterans and their families. Veterans should choose the institution of higher education most suitable for their career and life goals, including considering costs, locations, completion rates, and employment outcomes for graduates, among many factors.

Some institutions of higher education focus on, or have specialty program for, military veterans or their families. Such programs may include accepting military education, training, and experience toward degree requirements, financial aid programs directed to veterans, specializations related to military experience or career tracks, military education on campus, or groups of veteran students in veteran student clubs, dormitories, study groups, or sections of classes for veterans.
