Until recently the employment situation for veterans compared favorably to non-veterans. However, post 9/11 veterans have experienced disproportionally higher unemployment rates compared to non-Veterans. At all levels of government policies, laws, and regulations are being proposed and enacted to address this public and private sector concern.
