TERMS OF USE

Veteran Employment Leading Practices: Tools for Engaging Talent (Toolkit) provides resources and links to services and resources that support military veterans, transitioning service members, veteran families, business and industry employers, organizations and associations, and others who are engaged in the employment, education, or workforce preparedness of veterans and their families. The Toolkit lists resources from IVMF, partner organizations, Veteran Serving Organizations, federal, state and local government websites, and many more. We accept material contributions for consideration for inclusion, and we link to submitted materials as well as publicly available resources. Use of these resources is intended to promote employment for veterans and their families, and use by any organization or company for the purpose of recruiting, hiring, retaining, advancing, accommodating, or otherwise facilitating employee engagement is encouraged. Non-commercial use is permitted for all materials generated by IVMF, and commercial use for the purpose of hiring veterans and military families is also permitted. Curated materials not produced by IVMF, whether linked from IVMF, or hosted on IVMF’s site, are subject to their own terms of use, which where possible will be included with the materials.

The resources contained in or linked to in the Toolkit support veterans and families in employment, and support organizations which support that purpose. Links and materials included in the Toolkit are reviewed regularly, and any concerns may be reported to IVMF.

The Toolkit contains hypertext links or pointers to information created and maintained by other public and private organizations. These links and pointers are provided for the user's convenience. IVMF does not control or guarantee the accuracy, relevance, timeliness or completeness of this outside information. Further, the inclusion of links or pointers to particular items in hypertext is not intended to reflect their importance. Moreover, the IVMF does not endorse any views expressed or products or services offered on these outside sites or the organizations sponsoring the sites.

The IVMF reserves the right to deny or remove any resource that provides misleading information or unsubstantiated claims, or for any other reason deemed important to IVMF.

Organizations, agencies or individuals may recommend new resources to be added to the Toolkit through the CONTRIBUTE KNOWLEDGE page on the website. You will be taken to a page where you can enter the link address/URL, link title and link description for the new information you would like to see added to the site, or where you may upload suggested content for review. Uploaded content may be submitted on the provided templates, or as a separate document. All content will be reviewed for inclusion, and if at the sole discretion of IVMF should be included, will be linked or uploaded to the site.

If you have questions regarding materials included or suggested for inclusion to the toolkit, please send an e-mail to jschmeli@syr.edu
